- Note about Dual Enrollment: Parents, remember that students in 9th – 12th grades are still maturing. In High School, you are still working on the Spiritual foundation of your child’s character. Therefore, a parent needs to be very aware that their child is going into a secular college with a secular teacher that may be anti-Christian. It is our opinion that in 9th and 10th grade, students need more time to be formed in their faith in order to counteract this type of secular teaching. In 11th and 12th grade , however, they have had 2 years of strong Religion and History foundation and are more mature and ready to take classes outside of homeschooling. That being said, we do not want to forget to continue to work on their spiritual foundation. We suggest you complete the Religion and History of Mother of Divine Grace through 12th grade so that your child learns the Catholic perspective of these subjects so when they are confronted with secular views they do not become confused and leave their faith. It is a fact, that most students leave their faith in college. It takes years for them to return – if they do at all. Please consider this carefully.

2. I will focus on making physics clear and on learning how to solve physics problems.
3. Students will be asked to read the material to be covered in the next lecture and answer questions covered in the text in advance of the lecture.
4. Lectures will be based on the material covered in the text. I will identify the sections covered during the lecture.
5. After each lecture problems will be assigned based on what was covered. I intend to give the students the answers to the problems up front so that they can confirm whether they reached the correct solution.
6. Tests will be given after completing three chapters on those chapters. Tests will only cover what was read AND covered in lecture. Tests will be taken at home. Tests will not be cumulative.

The version for AP courses contains the same content, but has been modified to highlight AP knowledge requirements.
Conduct of the Course
1. My primary goal for this course will be to prepare the student to succeed in college physics.
