- Please Note: If you are enrolled in Mother of Divine Grace, the 8th grade Physical Science does not count toward High School. But the Georgia University System requires a Physical Science or Physics to be taken in order to be admitted. Therefore, we do Earth Science in 8th grade (which does count toward High School) and Physical Science in 9th. Earth Sciences is more of a writing class. It is teaching students how to do research papers. Physical Science may or may not have a lab. We offer labs with Biology and Chemistry.
